Providing Energy to our Communities

Fox Island Electric Cooperative (FIEC) and Fox Islands Wind (FIW) are evaluating energy options for the islands going forward. 

In anticipation of making recommendations to the communities we serve, FIEC and FIW will be providing weekly background articles about, among other things, the history of FIEC and FIW, the sources and costs of energy for the islands, and some of the energy challenges and possible solutions for members to consider.

 FIEC and FIW are also adding more data and resources to the websites.

 The FIEC and FIW boards meet monthly. All meetings have a time for public comments and are open for members to attend in person and online.
